Our 2027 Stewardship Campaign is now in full swing. We began this campaign with some recent Temple Talks, which were given to let the congregation know about some of the great activities happening in our church and to thank those responsible for doing all the hard work that made these activities possible. We are blessed to have so many talented, generous church members that are willing to donate their time and talents to Spruce Run Lutheran Church.

We would like to begin by thanking you for your generosity in previous years. Your donations and pledges have helped fund the four pillars of our church- Worship, Service, Fellowship, and Education. Our church has not only been a sanctuary for those seeking a place to worship God, but also as a venue to serve our local community. Activities like Bible Study, Tuesday Quilters, North Hunterdon Food Pantry, Jingle Bell Junction, Publick Theology, Ecumenical Worship, VIBE, Strawberry Festival and a host of other events that enrich our community. Thank you to all who participated in making these activities so successful.

Enclosed, you will find pledge cards for the upcoming church year. Please take some time to reflect and pray on what time, talents and treasures you hope to provide to the church in the coming year. Your pledges help the Council and Budget Committee to properly plan and make possible the continuation of the great work of our church. We are mindful of the economic headwinds faced by most members of the congregation, thus we are ever vigilant in ensuring that your donations are spent wisely.

We are also enclosing a Time and Talents worksheet that will help us to identify the resources needed to continue the great work that Spruce Run Lutheran church is known for. Please take a few minutes to fill this information out. We have a goal of increasing the number of responses to this letter by 10-15% over the responses we received for the 2026 church year. These pledges are crucial in our ability to develop a responsible budget for the coming year.
